Born in 2010 (18th generation), U12 world youth champion at Batumi (2022), six gold medals at the 2023 Southeast Asian youth championships, then Vietnam's first rapid-chess gold at the 2024 Asian youth championship (Almaty). Nicknamed the “prodigy” of Vietnamese chess, he completed his third norm at the 2025 Hanoi Grandmaster Tournament and was awarded the International Master (FIDE) title in January 2026, aged 16 — following in Lê Quang Liêm's footsteps.
