Hoàng giáp laureate (1913)

Youngest son of the martyr Đinh Văn Chất, he escaped the massacre as a child and went into exile in China (Fujian). Back in 1898, he earned the second-rank doctorate (Hoàng giáp) in 1913 — the branch's fourth generation of laureates. Father of the Venerable Thích Minh Châu.
