Đinh Dũng

Eldest son of the diplomat Đinh Nho Liêm, born in Thanh Hóa. Doctor (1979) then Doctor of Science (1985) of the Lomonosov University of Moscow, principal researcher at the Institute of Information Technology of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He received the Tạ Quang Bửu Prize in 2015 for his work on approximation in very high dimensions (the “hyperbolic cross” method). He was vice-chair of the prize council in 2017.
