Đinh Nho Thường

Son of Đinh Nho Công, whom the HYPT names Nho Thưởng and gives as the 5th son; ĐTA 2023 makes him the 2nd son of the second wife, and Đinh Quang Tích the 4th son ⚠︎ (D-H15). A district magistrate (tri huyện), he left Hương Sơn for Can Lộc.

According to the research of Đinh Quang Tích (2008–2013), taken up by ĐTA 2023, he is the ancestor of the Đinh clan of Cương Gián (Nghi Xuân): the two genealogies agree “but for a few characters” down to the 7th generation, and the identification of the founder remains a “credible hypothesis”. Part A of GP2020 finds in the Cương Gián genealogy a brother of the founder ⚠︎ (D-H16). The branch was recognised by the clan in 2013; a copy of its genealogy was handed over on 14 April 2022.
